Learn Every Note on the Guitar Neck — The Easy Way! 🎸

Unlock the fretboard

Guitarists and guitar-playing songwriters can theoretically pick up a guitar, learn some chords and write a few songs and riffs without necessarily knowing the names of the notes.

But sooner or later, it’s a practical necessity to learn the notes if you want to get more sounds out of the guitar, and it can be undermining to confidence having no understanding of what’s happening on the guitar fretboard. But learning the entire fretboard can seem like a big job, and if you’ve ever tried just staring at a neck diagram you’ll know that doesn’t work well. So we can easily get frustrated and overwhelmed with it.

I have a unique approach that has helped students of mine from age six to sixty-five get to know the notes painlessly and quickly. There’s no memorizing; you’ll just end up knowing what the notes are.

I explain it in this video, and you’ll see the method explained between 1 min and 1 min 40 into the video.
